The first of many more Bando Tours to come was completed May 20, 2007. We took our group to numerous battlefield locations in Normandy and a better than excellent time was had by all!

It was an honor for us to have Donald R. Burgett along with us on this trip. He told the group of his numerous wartime experiences as we visited many of the locations in which he fought during the invasion of Normandy.

We have scheduled another Bando Tour departing March 13, returning March 23rd, 2008.

Please click on the address at right http://www.PathfinderTour.com  for more information on our fabulous tours!

This web site is maintained by Mark Patterson. I am a serious collector and historian of the WW2 Paratrooper, both American and British. My main collecting focus is on the U.S. Airborne Divisions.

I have been interested in WW2 and primarily the Paratrooper since I was 10 years old and have been collecting militaria since then. I dedicate this site to all the "troopers" who gave up their todays so that we would have our tomorrows!

I put this site together as a sort of online museum, so that veterans, collectors, historians and anyone interested in the WW2 Paratrooper can come to it and hopefully enjoy the pictures and information contained herein.

You will find pictures of my collection and hopefully visitors will be adding to the gallery. There will also be pictures and information pertaining to the Normandy and Holland invasion as well as the "Battle of the Bulge".

If you have any comments or things to add please contact me.

I am always looking for more pieces of history to add to my personal collection. If you have anything Paratrooper related please contact me.

I am currently working on the design and manufacture of a stained glass window for the church in Angoville au Plein. It will of course be 101st related and will also cover the 501st PIR and have a Combat Medics/Paratrooper theme. Many thanks to Hubert Achten for his help on this project! It is a real honor for me to provide this window in honor of the 2 medics that worked in the church saving and comforting the wounded of both sides.
